Personality Traits:

• Slightly Dependent: Canyon will play by himself but he’d much prefer for you to join in. He will wander around the home but make sure to come back and check in with you occasionally. In his quest to keep you in eyesight whenever possible, expect to have a fuzzy shadow following you around the house. While Canyon does prefer to be with his people, never fear! He is still perfectly capable of spending time by himself taking a nap or chewing on a toy.

• Reserved: Canyon is reserved, meaning that he will take longer to warm up to new things and won’t be very interested in meeting new people. He will not be interested in exploring new places and would instead be much happier waiting at home in his comfort zone to greet you the instant you get back from your own adventures. Reserved dogs typically do best in a home that prioritizes routine and has a limited number of visitors.

• Less Mature: Canyon may take a little longer to learn a new command or to focus on his training. He may lose focus more easily and will likely need shorter training sessions. Even though he is less mature than other pups his age, Canyon is still meeting all of his training goals, he just does everything with a bit of extra puppy sass! His less mature behaviors add to his charm, and with a little patience, he’ll blossom into a wonderful companion.

• Playful/Active : Full of energy, Canyon loves staying active! He enjoys playtime with toys, engaging in fun games, and going for walks or adventures. His playful spirit ensures that he keeps you entertained, and he thrives on interactive activities that challenge him mentally and physically.
